The setting is remote and private, the house being set amongst the sand hills with the living area at the height of the tree tops - with a wide panorama of the beautiful blue waters of eastern cove - yet the building is barely visible from the beach or the water.designed by sydney architect, prue murdoch, there are three main 'wings' to the house - the main north living wing, the secondary bedroom wing and the lower ' bunkhouse' is all separated by and linked with a generous entry, stair hall on each level.

You will be struck by the immaculate clarity of the water and the brilliant white of the pleasing beach sands. For the majority of the year, beach conditions are absolutely superb with the tame turquoise waters of Eastern Cove providing an inviting and sound water wonderland. No matter what time of the year the Be Coudie Beach House and surrounds will bear you with a memorable and unforgettable beach experience. We were on the beach in lower a tiny each morning and the kids immersed themselves In beach combing, dolphin spotting, swimming and glad seaside chatter. Island beach was a marvelous bottom for all our adventures on Kangaroo Island. We have already recommended it to friends and it's the only place we will stay on our return! The location was vast and although the house was distant (which we loved) it is tranquil close to the beach and other houses at the same time. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck whilst admiring the pretty ocean views. It is the superior beach house we have stayed at so far! House attractive and function able and we had a very glad time. The house is beautiful. The beach was so beautifully natural, almost like we had our own private place. We had such a relaxing stay at the house. It is situated so healthy and what the house offers is perfect. I loved the design, the view and the finishes.
